The one on the side of my leg is Doflamingo from One Piece and the newest one I got on the top of my thigh is Guts from Berserk. I’ve loved anime ever since middle school, it’s been a comfort and an escape for me for more than a decade. I always watched anime in my bed before I fell asleep, with my small group of friends, or on my computer instead of doing my work. As I got older, I knew I wanted tattoos. My mission was to always have unique and cool tattoos on my body. I thought that having anime tattoos would be perfect since I love anime and it’s been a big part of my life. These tattoos are also part of a scar coverup, kind of like a fresh slate, so now instead of being ashamed of my scars I can look down and see some beautiful art instead! As for the character choice, they are some of my favorite characters from my favorite anime/manga. They are all crazy men… do with that information what you will 😭
All my leg tattoos were done by the amazing @luthtorious ! I plan on going to him for all my anime tattoos since he’s also watched so many (which is great because he understands how to design them based on the shows) and his work is always clean and looks amazing. I appreciate him for being so open-minded and for also opening me up to new ideas (he was the first artist to convince me to do color tattoos).
