The roses on my back I had gotten custom a long time ago, at first they weren’t anything symbolic. However when I did some digging, a long time ago they tattooed red roses on prisoners to identify those who escaped. I found that extremely interesting, and went with the idea. I later added sunflowers to my garden to symbolize confidence and keeping your head high. Although sometimes I feel very trapped inside myself and my self-deprecation, sunflowers are a nice reminder to remain confident and to always remember to keep your head high and above all else.
The jellyfish fish was a cover-up tattoo, I chose a jellyfish because of the transparency they represent, the free lifestyle, and the tranquility in life. I chose the jellyfish because transparency means a great deal to me, especially to those who come in and out of my life. I’ve been through more things in my life than I’d like to admit. It’s nice to look down and have a sense of calm.
