I grew up with my grandparents living in our home, they helped to raise me and my younger brother while my mom would take care of our father. my grandma has a nickname for me, “dolly” and I decided to get that tattooed. It also works as an homage to Dolly Parton, which is what most people assume the tattoo is for. even though I don’t like country music she is both a feminist and LGBTQ* icon, and an inspiration
The disco ball is a matching tattoo with my best friend from my hometown in California
